Lizard
Easy to make and this idea can be adapted to suit any level.
Inspired by http://www.skiptomylou.org/3d-paper-lizard-craft-camp/
This was used as a decorative gift tag (with one of the legs to hang on a gift bag) but looks good in 3-D on the wall or made smaller and flat as a bookmark.

Materials
Green card
Black pen
Scissors
Glue (pritt-stick)
Decorative materials (gold paper, stickers, etc)

Stage 1
-Draw the lizard image on green card
(I used a stencil for a group of children doing this project but not necessary. It can be pre-drawn on for younger learners)

Stage 2
-Cut out
-Score the underside of the image with a pair of scissors
(follow the line along the centre from the tip of the head to end of the tail)
-Manipulate the card so it's slightly folded to make it more 3-D

Stage 3
-Cut 2 circles from decorative paper (or use round stickers/draw on)
-Decorate the body with shiny paper/stickers
(if you use lighter-coloured green card you can just use felt-tips/crayons to decorate)

Stage 4
-Draw outline in black pen
-Stick on the wall!
