Christmas Decorations

Here's a classic idea for Christmas decorations made from strips of card or decorative paper
Materials-Card and/or Paper (I suggest card for the outside and centre strips)
-Ruler, pencil, scissors
-Stapler (or tape, but a bit more fiddly ...you need to leave a mm overlap on each strip)
-String

Stage 1
-Cut a long strip of card (the length of an A4 piece of paper/30cm long and around 2cm width)
-Cut medium strip of shiny wrapping paper or card (around 25 cm long and 2 cm width)
-Cut a short piece of card (around 10cm long and 2cm width)
Stage 2
-Fold the long piece of card half
-Fold the medium piece in half and put inside the longer strip
-Place the shorter piece of card in the centre
Stage 3
-Staple the top of all strips of card together at the top
-Then, bend the strips of card so they all meet at the same level at the bottom, and staple
(It may be easier to do 1 half of the decoration and staple then the other half after)
 Stage 4
-Tie string to the decoration and add to a Christmas tree or hang up!
