Easy peg bat

This is a classic idea using a peg and bat theme. I've simplified it to make it an effective and easy project. Ideal for Halloween.
Materials
-Basic materials ...pencil, scissors, glue (pritt stick is ideal), ruler
-Black card (if you can't get this, you could make a photocopy without using any paper on the machine to make black paper, but this uses a lot of ink)
-Wooden peg
-Black marker pen (a black white-board marker is ideal ...permanent markers stain hands and tables/desks)
-White circular stickers (or could use normal white stickers/paper and stick on)
-Newspaper, etc (to protect surfaces when colouring)
-Stencils (optional)
Stencil: Click here for stencil

Stage 1
-Draw stencil on black card and cut out

Stage 2
-Colour the peg black using a black marker pen
-Glue on side of the peg and stick to the centre of the bat image
-Leave to dry for a couple of minutes

Stage 3
- Place the bat image with the peg on the underside, and fold 2 vertical folds inwards/towards you (the width of the 'head' of the bat) to make it 3-D (use a ruler or the edge of a book for this)
-Cut out 'eyes' and add detail. Add 'eyes' and 'fangs'. Cut into triangles from stickers or paper
-Clip on and scare your friends!
